Help is needed.

Please help us save Hans Creek Community Hall!

We are so fortunate to have this wondrous gathering space that is packed with generations of memories and community history. Over the past ten years, your financial and volunteer support have allowed us to add an impressive open-air pavilion, beautiful grounds work, and a new child’s play area.

Work to renovate the original schoolhouse building, attached kitchen and porch was recently begun. But almost immediately, we determined that extensive termite infestation had wrecked significant damage on the historic building. Problems with the aged foundation and structure have put the 125 year old building at risk of collapse and destruction. Fortunately, we have found a local builder with the expertise and desire to help us shore up the structure, enhance it’s esthetic qualities and modernize the utilities for improved comfort and safety.

Follow us here for updates and reports of our progress; spread the word to our Hans Creek community and friends; and check here for ways that you can help. Let’s act now to ensure that future generations can continue to build on the history of Hans Creek Community Hall.
